Valorant Best Brimstone Smoke spots for Split on attack
The best Brimstone’s smokes for Split on the attacking side. Learn the best smoke spots to occupy sites A and B.
Beware from mobile. All the pictures are optimized, but there are about 40+ in this guide.
When explaining the smoke spots, I might use the most common callouts to indicate them.
More smoke spots:
Site A smokes - Split
Starting smoke
At the start of the match, or when you have only one Smoke available, Short is the best spot because it gives your team a safe path toward Heaven.
Standard smoke placements
This is the standard setup you will use in most rounds.
The first smoke covers Ramp, so your team can freely move via Short toward Site A.
When moving to Short, do not forget to check this corner as you could find an enemy at ground level or high ground.
These two smokes cover the opponents’ visual from both Heaven and Screens.
Alternative smoke placements
If you can approach safely this corner, you will be able to use even better smokes because your tactical map reaches Screens.
The first two smokes are the same we used in the standard setup.
The smoke blocking Screens must not cover also Elbow, otherwise the enemy team may have the chance to sneak in and kill you while you are planting the Spike.
Here is an example of a wrong smoke placement on Screens.
Smoke spots to occupy Heaven
If you wish to take control of Heaven, smoking Short and Heaven creates a natural path via Ramp.
Do not forget to check the left side of Ramp, or an enemy could annihilate most of your team.
Secure the area, and kill any visible opponent on Heaven.
You only have one smoke left, but there are two potential spots you may want to cover in this area.
The first smoke covers Vent, which can be useful if you know there are enemies coming from Mid.
The second smoke is preferable if there are opponents who retreated in the tunnel connected to the Defenders Spawn. Also in this case, check the left corner while advancing.
Once you got the control of Heaven, your teammates can reach Site A via Short, and plant the Spike.
Site B smokes - Split
Standard smoke locations
In most cases, you will use two smokes on Heaven because the opponents have a massive advantage on this site from that high ground.
Back is completely covered, so any enemy placed behind the wooden wall won’t be able to see you.
Do not forget to check your left side while entering.
On the right side, Heaven is obstructed, but be sure to examine the area below the ropes and the path on the left.
Heaven and Rafters double smoke spots
Alternatively, you can replace the previous two Heaven smokes with the following ones. They cover the whole high ground.
Alternative smoke locations
This is a slightly riskier setup, but overall it also depends on the placements covered by your opponents.
The vision from Heaven is mostly obscured, but you must move quickly because an expert sniper could still kill you.
Again, do not forget to check your left side.
Both Back and Alley are closed as well, however, be aware that the opponents might hide in the area directly behind the smokes, so be ready to kill them before planting the Spike.
Heaven single smoke spot
This is another viable setup that partially blocks vision from Heaven. I suggest it also when you have only one smoke available.
You are still exposed to snipers camping on Heaven, but they have a lot less vision. Honestly, lower ranked players will often miss the shot.
