The best Brimstone’s smokes for Bind on the attacking side. Learn the best smoke spots to occupy sites A and B.
Beware from mobile. All the pictures are optimized, but there are about 40+ in this guide.
When explaining the smoke spots, I might use the most common callouts to indicate them.
More smoke spots:
Site A smokes - Bathroom | Bind
Standard smoke placements
This is the standard setup you will use in most games as it covers Heaven. You really want a smoke on that spot because there is often a sniper camping it.
When going out of Bathroom, do not forget to check your left and right sides for potential enemies.
Heaven is completely covered, and no enemy can spot you from U Hall: this is a perfect moment to plant the Spike.
Alternative smoke placements
Another solid setup that gives you a wider vision on Site A, at the cost of a slightly worse cover from Heaven.
The left side is completely closed, and a teammate could exploit this opportunity for a sneak attack against U Hall.
Heaven can’t shoot at you unless you move at the very right side of the smoke.
Protect Short smoke placements
If your team is on Short with the Spike, you can use the following smoke layout to protect them.
From Short, they are completely covered, and the sniper on Heaven can’t spot them.
You are also rather safe, but be aware that an enemy might approach you from U Hall or Vent (image 2), so be ready to kill them.
Site A smokes - Short | Bind
Best smoke locations
There are a few smoke options also from Short, but honestly the following setup is the best choice in any game because it covers literally everything.
When approaching Site A, do not forget to check the crates, Cubby, and the corner on the right side as an opponent might be waiting there.
U Hall is covered, so you don’t have to worry about attacks from there. Note that any enemy inside may rotate toward the site.
The planting area is absolutely safe. The smoke on the truck also shields you from snipers on Heaven.
Site B smokes - Window | Bind
First smoke layout
There are two viable smoke layouts in this area, and they both require you to take control of Window first. Here is the first one.
The site is completely covered by smokes, so you can safely plant on the right or left side.
When moving out of Window, be sure to check both your sides for enemies. Elbow is obstructed as well (image 2).
Second smoke layout
The second layout is very similar to the first one, but in this case you utilize a smoke to block B Hall.
Note that the left side of the site is not closed, so before planting be sure to search the area for potential threats.
Site B smokes - Long | Bind
Eco smoke locations
These smoke spots are a great choice if your team is playing an eco round as you will rush from Long and avoid almost any confrontation.
Any enemy on Elbow, Window, and Cubby won’t be able to see you, so you can just go inside the smoke in the middle, and plant the Spike.
When entering from Garden, do not forget to check your left side for potential enemies.
Window control smoke locations
If your team is controlling Window, you can use the same layouts I have explained before.
No Window smoke locations
If you do not have control of Window, this is the best setup because it blocks vision from there.
As usual, Elbow and Chubby are obstructed, but in this case you also have a smoke directly on Window.
This spot on the left side of Site B is the only dangerous one; check it out before planting.
