Splyce welcomes reltuC to the roster

In March, Splyce reported the departure of roca. The roster is again complete with the addition of reltuC, who will participate at the incoming DreamHack Tours qualifier.

Previously, Stephen "reltuC" Cutler joined Ronin Esports, but as an uncontracted player. He clarified his situation in a tweet on February 13th:

As some of you may know, I’ve just recently played with RONIN in the NA ECS qualifiers last night and since then, joined their MDL roster following Jonji’s departure.

As of right now, I am NOT under contract. I would like to make it clear to everyone that when I was asked to play, I was explicit in saying that I would be willing to help out, but only until I’m offered an opportunity on a pro team.

I’ve been patient with my search for over a month now, but ultimately, I’ve decided that I would rather compete with a team, for the time being, than to sit around playing Rank S and DMing all day.

Afterwards, he took part at the North American qualifiers for DreamHack Masters Marseille 2018 and IEM Masters XIII Sydney with Splyce, but unfortunately the team achieved only the top 8 in the former and the top 4 in the latter.

The first match of reltuC as an official member of the squad will take place at the DreamHack Open Tours 2018 North American closed qualifier. Eight teams will battle on April 8th in a single-elimination bracket with Bo3 matches.

Splyce’s roster:

  • Taylor "Drone" Johnson

  • David "DAVEY" Stafford

  • Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen

  • Zack "XotiC" Elshani

  • Stephen "reltuC" Cutler

  • Zachary "Eley" Stauffer (Coach)
