When entering, be sure to check both your right and left sides as an enemy might be waiting there. The smoke hides A Link.

Rafters is completely covered, so you are safe against snipers camping that spot. The area below is partially hidden.

Alternative smoke locations

The alternative smoke layout is viable if you are sure that there are no opponents on Rafters.

These smokes prevent movements of the players on Site A. While an ally is maintaining the control of the area, you can plant the Spike behind the wooden box on the right side.

A Link smokes to plant the Spike

If you are able to reach successfully A Link, these smokes are very helpful for a quick plant.

The opponents on Rafters and on Site A can’t see you (as long as you stay next to the wall), and you can just plant the Spike behind the metal box.

I recommend having a teammate controlling the situation from A Main.

Mid smokes | Ascent

Standard smoke spots

There are not many options on Mid. These smokes block view from Mid Bottom and Mid Cubby. Afterwards, you will have to choose which path to take.

Site B smokes | Ascent

Smokes to enter Site B

Accessing B Main is rather simple, and from here you can place two smokes to cover the defenders’ spawn and Mid Market.

Smokes Site B Ascent Brimstone Valorant

Both places are completely obstructed, therefore you can progress via the left side (beware of potential enemies).

B Back smoke to plant the Spike

Usually, there are players waiting inside B Back, so I suggest using your third smoke to cover their field of view, and plant the Spike next to the wall on the left side.
