Platforms availability
Temtem will be available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The latter has been unlocked with the $250.000 stretch goal on Kickstarter.
There are no plans on supporting MAC and Linux as it would require extra work, and the previous games’ sales on those platforms were not strong enough.
Early Access and release date on console
The Early Access on PC will start on January 21st, 2020.
Initially, the release on console was planned for a few months later, but the developers had to change plans due to some delays.
It will be probably later than May 2020, unfortunately. We’ve suffered some delays in our Alpha schedule that will affect all the planned deadlines.
Ultimately, the game full release, and its availability on all consoles, is estimated for early 2021.
Content in Early Access
The Early Access features the following content:
About 50% of the story (20-hour-long campaign).
Three islands to explore (each with its own unique biomes).
76 Temtem to catch and trade.
Co-op.
Player customization.
Breeding.
The plan is to improve all the social aspects for early access (co-op, friends, etc) and also keep adding new content to the story (new Islands and Tems).
Cross Play and Cross Save
Crema plans to feature both cross play and cross save, but nothing is confirmed yet as some matters are beyond their control.
We’d love to have cross-play and cross-save for Temtem and it is in our plans. We still need to talk with major platform owners to see if it's possible the way we want to.
Price and subscription
There are still no exact info on the final price, but most probably the game will cost around $35 as this was the price of the limited pre-order a while ago.
If you buy Temtem on PC, you will have to buy it again if you want to play it on other platforms in the future.
The game doesn’t require a monthly subscription.
Wipes
Currently, there is only one wipe planned: when Temtem will move from Alpha to Early Access.
