Rocket League competitive Season 17 end date
The Rocket League competitive seasons that have taken place so far had an average duration of 3-4 months. Season 17 will end in early March, 2025.
Rocket League season duration
All the Rocket League competitive seasons had a duration of 3-4 months. The third and fourteenth seasons are the only exceptions to the rule as they lasted for 9 and 6 months respectively.
Below, you can find the approximate duration of each season:
Season 1: 5 months.
Season 2: 4 months.
Season 3: 9 months.
Season 4: 3 and a half months.
Season 5: 3 months.
Season 6: 4 and a half months.
Season 7: 3 and a half months.
Season 8: 4 months.

Season 10: 3 months.

In the past, Psyonix did not provide any info on the competitive season duration inside the game client, but they usually alerted on the official Rocket League Twitter a few weeks before its conclusion.
Starting from the Free To Play release, the developers opted for an unified system, so now Rocket Pass and Competitive Season have the same duration, and the exact end date is indicated also on their website.

Season 14 to Free To Play
The RL developers are working on a major update that will include changes to competitive play, such as new ranks for players at Grand Champion. Season 14 is extended to the live date of that update, which is planned for later this summer. The exact date has not been revealed yet.
Rocket Pass 6 will end on August 31 at 10 a.m. PDT, but Competitive Season 14 will still be live. More info on the next Rocket Pass and Competitive Season will be revealed in the weeks to come.
Psyonix will roll out an update on current platforms in the next few weeks around mid September, and the launch of free to play will follow shortly after. They didn’t share the exact date yet.

Season 13 to 14
Season 13 will end roughly two hours before Season 14 begins on March 25. Rocket Pass 5 will come to a close the same day, so make sure to complete those last-minute Challenges before then!
Season 12 to 13
Competitive Season 13 begins on the day of the update, which means Competitive Season 12 is coming to a close at 8 a.m. PST (4 p.m. UTC) on December 4.
Season 10 to 11
Season 10 is the shortest season ever as it lasted 83 days.
In the second place we find season 5 with 85 days.
Devin Connors, Rocket League community manager, revealed that they are working on a plan to normalize seasons.
Season 9 to 10
Season 9 Ends: Tuesday, February 19 at 8AM PST/4PM UTC
Season 10 Begins / Friends Update LIVE: 10am PST/6PM UTC
