OpenDota mobile app in Open Beta

OpenDota mobile app in Open Beta

The OpenDota mobile app entered the Open Beta stage. You can take part in the beta test by contacting directly the developer. Available for Android and iOS.

OpenDota is a free and open source data platform for Dota 2. It provides detailed statistics on competitive games and lets you parse also your own games. I often utilize it for my articles simultaneously with other data tools.

Even the famous OpenAI showed in action during The International 7 used OpenDota to discover all the replays for their project.

Below, a picture of the data explorer on OpenDota, with which you can find anything you want to know about a particular game, hero, player, or team.

The mobile app has been in development for quite some time, and finally everyone will be able to test it on their phones. If you want to take part in the beta please send a private message to Proyoyo on Reddit or on Discord with you email address and the device type.

The installer and the instructions are on GitHub

The app will hit the store at the end of December or in early January, thus GitHub will be the only source until the official release.

At the moment, the app doesn’t have the same features of the website. The developers are focusing their time on enhancing the user experience, and then will gradually implement all the remaining elements.

Don’t miss this opportunity to improve your games with proper data. For any bug, please open a ticket on GitHub.
