Mineski withdraws from DotaPIT for family issues

Mineski won’t take part at AMD SAPPHIRE Dota PIT League as one of their players has an important family matter to take care of. Substitute not announced yet.

Mineski qualified for the Dota PIT Minor winning the best-of-three double-elimination SEA qualifier. They defeated TNC Pro Team and Fnatic 2 to 0, and then faced the latter in the best-of-five Grand Final. Fnatic tried their best but in the end Mineski claimed victory scoring 3-2.

The team hasn’t given the exact reason behind their decision, but has explained that all players agreed in order to support their teammate.

Tonight, we have an important announcement to make.

Due to one of our players having an important family matter to attend to, we will have to pull out of the DotaPit Minor later this year.

This decision doesn’t come easily at all, but the team has decided to come together to support one of our players at this crucial time.

We’re very sorry to you, our fans, as well as to the DotaPit admin.

We will still be playing in this week’s PGL Minor, so we hope you support us there!

AMD SAPPHIRE Dota PIT League is planned for November 2nd to 5th at Meridian Lav Hotel, in Split, Croatia.

Team Liquid and Newbee received a direct invite, while the remaining ones earned their spot through the regional qualifiers. Dota PIT hasn’t announced yet which team will replace Mineski.
