MATUMBAMAN’s victory at The International 7 with Team Liquid has been nominated as most thrilling sport moment of the year at Urheilugaala.
Urheilugaala is a Finnish sports festival that every year awards the best sports performers of the country. Lasse Aukusti "MATUMBAMAN" Urpalainen is the first esports player ever to receive a nomination.
The winner of his category will be determined through the viewers’ vote.

Team Liquid scored a perfect 3-0 victory against Newbee during the Grand Finals of The International 2017.
The winners will be announced on January 2018 with a grand ceremony at Hartwall Arena, in Helsinki, Finland. The most thrilling sport moment of the past year was assigned to Kasperi Kapanen, a famous hockey player, for the winning goal on overtime at U20 Ice Hockey World Championship Finals.
