ESL One Katowice - Poland’s first Major

ESL One Katowice has been announced. It is the fifth Major of the new Dota Pro Circuit, and the first one to take place in Poland.

The event will span over six days, and culminate with the playoffs at Spodek Arena, Katowice, Poland from February 24th to 25th.

As for Valve’s rules, the tournament will feature qualifiers in the six main regions. Including the invites, a total of sixteen top tier Dota 2 teams will clash for a $1,000,000 prize pool and 1,500 Pro Circuit Points.

The event, powered by Intel, offers the attendees also the chance to visit the fourth edition of IEM Expo, the world’s largest esports-themed trade show. Over the 8,000 square meters of the exhibition space, the newest hardware and gaming technologies will be showcased.

Ulterior info on open and closed qualifiers, schedules, and format will be announced at a later date. Ticket will be available on Ticketmaster starting from November.
