Dota 2 7.07 - Dueling Fates - expected in one month

Valve stated that The Dueling Fates update will need one more month before the official release. Dota 2 7.07 won’t be out in September.

Valve released a blog post about the Frostivus custom game contest, encouraging the Dota developer community to create a multiplayer custom game themed around the Frostivus season.

The game can be cooperative or competitive, and must be submitted by November 20th. The creator of the best mod will be rewarded with a $30,000 prize. All the rules of the contest are available here.

Looking forward to the next season, Valve finally shared the expected date for the next big update:

Our next big release will be The Dueling Fates update. We are still hard at work on it and don’t have an exact release date, but we are expecting it to take another month to finish the content.

All players demanding a new meta must wait a little longer. Necrophos will plague our pubs for a month more.
