Kinguin are the winners of ESL Polish Championship 

Team Kinguin won ESL Polish Championship Summer 2017 overcoming Pride and AGO Gaming with a 2-1 score. They brought home a zł 30,000 prize ($8,370).

ESL Polish Championship Summer 2017 featured eight teams native of the country, who battled for a $16,000 prize pool. Team Kinguin received a direct invite to the tournament and qualified for the playoffs in Lodz, Poland, with a brilliant 10-4 score in the group stage.

After defeating Pride in the semifinals, Team Kinguin faced AGO on Overpass, Cobblestone, and Mirage.

Both teams were ready to give their best. The first map saw a well-fought match that ended in an overtime victory for AGO, scoring 22:19. Tomasz "phr" Wójcik was the top killer of the team with a 40-27 K-D.

Afterwards, Kinguin proved their superiority on Cobblestone getting 13 rounds as Terrorists, and quickly ending the fight 16 to 4. Michał "MICHU" Müller was the man of the match as he scored a rating of 2.09, killed 25 opponents, and performed a total of 14 headshots.

Mirage was the decider map of this Bo3. The first half ended with a 8:7 score for AGO, but Kinguin had the upper hand on the CT-side, claiming six consecutive rounds and winning 16 to 12. Three times the bomb was defused on their watch.

Once again MICHU pushed the team to victory with 33 kills and an average damage per round of 123.
