IEM World Championship Katowice announced

Intel Extreme Masters World Championship will return to Katowice on March 2-4. Sixteen teams will battle for a share of the $500,000 prize pool.

Sixteen among the best CS:GO teams in the world will take part at Intel Extreme Masters World Championship Katowice. The event will last six days, and the playoffs will be played in front of a live audience at Spodek Arena, in Katowice, Poland from March 2 to 4. A $500,000 prize pool is up for grabs!

IEM Katowice is the seventh event in the Intel Grand Slam series. The team that will win at least four out of the last ten $200,000 events held by DreamHack or ESL will win a grand $1,000,000 money prize. FaZe Clan, G2 Esports, and SK Gaming secured an event each during this season.

Tickets for the event will be available on Ticketmaster starting from November. Additional info on qualifiers, groups, talent, and schedule will be released in the following weeks.
