Call of Duty season start and end date: Warzone 3 Modern Warfare III
The Call of Duty Warzone seasons that have taken place so far had an average duration of two months. Season 6 will end in mid October, 2024.
CoD Warzone 3 season duration
Predicting the starting and ending date of each Call of Duty Warzone season is quite simple because Activision standardized their duration to about two months.
The exact date is revealed only a few days before the season launch, however, the season end mostly coincides with the Battle Pass end, which countdown is available in-game.
Modern Warfare III
Season 6
Season 6 for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare® III, Call of Duty: Warzone, and Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile goes live on Wednesday, September 18 beginning at 9 AM PT across all platforms.
Season 5
Season 5 for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Call of Duty: Warzone, and Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile goes live on Wednesday, July 24 beginning at 9 AM PT across all platforms.
Season 4

Season 3
Featuring more Events, Challenges, and secrets than ever before, Season 3 for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile goes live on Wednesday April 3 at 9 AM PT across all platforms.
Season 1
Season 1 for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone goes live on December 6 at 9 AM PT across all platforms.
It is impossible to predict the exact time of the day, so the countdown below is just an approximation timed to the earliest expected date.
Update: Season 6 of Warzone Ranked Play ends on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 12 AM PT.

Previous seasons
Modern Warfare II
Season 1
At approximately 8 AM PT on November 16, Call of Duty: Warzone servers will temporarily go offline as Call of Duty®: Vanguard Season Five concludes.
At approximately 10 AM PT, Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 will be released as part of Modern Warfare II Season 01.
Once the Warzone 2.0 ecosystem is fully stable, and after a small development break for Thanksgiving for the developers who observe this U.S. holiday, Warzone is planned to be relaunched as Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera as a separate experience. This will happen at approximately 10 AM PT on November 28.
Vanguard
Season 2
To date, we’ve deployed a number of updates, but more needs to be done. For this reason, we have decided to reschedule the start of Season Two across Warzone Pacific and Vanguard to February 14.
We will use this additional development time to deliver updates, including optimizations to gameplay, game balancing (including weapon and equipment balancing), to fix game stability and bugs, and to ensure an overall level of polish to improve the experience for players across Vanguard, Warzone Pacific, Black Ops Cold War, and Modern Warfare.
Season 1
Your journey in Warzone Pacific begins with Season One of Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Pacific on December 8th.
Cold War
Season 5
Activision delayed the start of season 5 from August 11th to 13th because of a testing issue they discovered earlier this week.
Season 1
The release date of Season One across the new Black Ops Cold War and free-to-play, free-for-everyone Warzone has been moved from December 10 to December 16.
Modern Warfare
Season 4
Activision delayed the start of the next season of Modern Warfare, Warzone, and Call of Duty Mobile to June 10th, in solidarity with the events that shook the world in that period.
Season 2
Over the next few weeks, a host of new items and challenges will arrive, including an in-game Challenge to earn the new Crossbow weapon, more remixed game modes, new playlists, and more in the Store to discover. To make room for all that activity, we are making a one-time extension of Season One – it’s now ending on February 11.
